What is the card ministry?

Our card ministry involves Christians carefully selecting greeting cards, provided on racks in our lobby, to send certain individuals within and without the Oxford church who may appreciate a word of encouragement, sympathy or commendation.

What kinds of cards are sent through this work?

As indicated in the picture above, we do not only send cards to those celebrating joyous occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries, but we send cards to those who are sick, hurting, grieving, hospitalized or shut-in. Our card ministry is one way we strive to "rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep" (Romans 12:15).
