We visit two nursing/rehabilitation homes regularly as a work of our "Our Concerned Ministry:" (1) Golden Living, located in Oxford, Alabama, and (2) NHC Healthcare, located in Anniston, Alabama. We hold a devotional at Golden Living once a week, every Tuesday at 10:00 AM. The devotional at NHC is held once a month, every first Sunday at 2:30 PM.

What do we normally do when we visit?

At each visit, we sing, pray and present a short lesson to a group of patients. The patients who come to the devotional are invited to participate by singing with us and attentively hearing the message from God's word.

How many are usually involved with this work?

We have a good number of the Oxford members actively involved with the nursing home devotionals. At least 12 members attend the devotionals at NHC and Golden Living, but as many as 30 have attended a given devotional. In addition our members, there are usually 35-40 patients of the nursing/rehabilitation homes who attend, making this a very worthwhile and rewarding work.
