Gospel
Meetings A
Gospel meeting is a special week of daily assemblies
in which a guest speaker preaches a series of Bible
lessons. It is called a Gospel meeting simply
because it is a meeting in which the Gospel is
preached. While we welcome guests to all our
services, this is a special week for us to invite
our neighbors in the community to visit us and hear
the Truth spoken in love (cf. Ephesians 4:15). It's
also a week during which the Christians at Oxford
and surrounding churches of Christ attend and are
edified.
We hold two Gospel
meetings per year, one in the summer and one in the
fall. We traditionally have our guest present
lessons Sunday through Thursday, including a morning
and evening lesson Monday through Thursday. To see when our next Gospel meeting will be,
